Leisure-focused Chinese online travel company Tuniu today announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022.
Net revenues were RMB 41.5 million (USD 6.5 million) in the first quarter of 2022, representing a year-over-year decrease of 46.4%.
Revenues from packaged tours were RMB 14.4 million (USD 2.3 million) in the first quarter of 2022, representing a year-over-year decrease of 68.3%.
Gross profit was RMB 15.8 million (USD 2.5 million) in the first quarter of 2022, representing a year-over-year decrease of 44.8%.
Net loss was RMB 41.7 million (USD 6.6 million) in the first quarter of 2022, compared to a net loss of RMB 41.6 million in the first quarter of 2021.
For the second quarter of 2022, the Company expects to generate RMB 32.2 million to RMB 40.2 million of net revenues, which represents a 75% to 80% decrease year-over-year.
