Tamar Sujashvili is an artist-designer by profession. She graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts. From the 3^rdyear, in parallel with her studies, she started working as a chief designer in one of the shoe factories, where she worked for 9 years. She  later opened and founded her own enterprise and brand.

Georgian brand “Suji” was founded in 2009 by its founder and creative director Tamar Sujashvili. The main advantage and a hallmark  of Suji is that first of all  it focuses on individual orders. High quality, genuine leather shoes and bags are custom designed for each client. They also sew capsule collections, which are sold at the Tamar concept shop, located in the historical district of Old Tbilisi, 18 Leonidze Street, Sololaki. “Suji” products are sold outside the country. Tamar often participates in fashion weeks, showrooms and also has collaborations with various designers.
