Starting November 13, all other travelers will be required to present proof of a room reservation at a Hong Kong hotel.

Hong Kong requires a 14-day quarantine in a hotel for all overseas travelers, except mainland China, after a woman from mainland China tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong government said the 14-day hotel quarantine was mandatory for all visitors except those coming from mainland China, Macao SAR and Taiwan, the South China Morning Post reported on Tuesday.

Starting November 13, all other travelers will be required to present proof of a room reservation at a Hong Kong hotel. Before the directive comes into force, arriving travelers may be quarantined at home for two more weeks.
